Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection Prepares Players For Sequel

Seemingly in preparation for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, Konami has announced that 2010’s original reboot game is being re-released. Referred to as the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collection, it will be bundling the first game together with both of its DLC expansions, as well as the HD rework of the previously 3DS exclusive Mirror of Fate and a demo of sequel. This appealing package will be available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 from the 5th of November (8th in the UK) and will retail for £29.99/$39.99.

Apparently, only the core game will be contained on the disc, with the rest of the content having to be downloaded separately. In addition, Konami has confirmed that Mirror of Fate HD will be available on its own for $14.99, while Dave Cox, the series’ creative director, has teased the title running on a PC, thus hinting at an eventual release on that platform too. No standalone release date has yet been confirmed.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is slated for release in late February on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
