Just one week after launch, Arkane Studios has announced plans for a New Game + mode, as well as custom difficulty settings, in a free update for Dishonored 2 next month.
With the only real complaint for the well-received sequel being performance issues on PC, which will also be addressed soon, this announcement bolsters an already strong title. giving even more choices for players to explore.
Allowing players the choice between the two playable characters of Royal Protector Corvo Attano and Empress Emily Kaldwin, as well as the choice to play the game without killing anyone, killing everyone in sight, using the Outsider’s powers, refusing them outright, or any combination of the above, the ‘Play Your Way’ philosophy behind the stealth title is as freeing and fun as it was in the first game four years ago.
With more details about this update to come in the next few weeks, players have much to be excited for, even as they continue to work through the solid vanilla experience Dishonored 2 offers at launch.
