Murdered: Soul Suspect Announced for Xbox One

Looks like Square Enix’s Murdered: Soul Suspect will be coming to Xbox One.

Murdered: Soul Suspect is a detective thriller game that follows the story of a detective who is murdered, and as a lost soul will solve his own murder. Airtight Games, the developer of Murdered: Soul Suspect, has confirmed detective elements, third person shooter gameplay and some pretty complex puzzles, with more details to share on the game in the coming days.

A PS4 version of the game was not announced at the time of this writing, but you should expect to hear something on the PS4 version of the game very soon. Murdered: Soul Suspect is coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Xbox One and most likely PS4. Currently the release date is set as a summer 2014 release, whether or not that will change with the announcement of next-gen version of the game remains to be seen.

I was looking forward to playing this game. Too bad I won’t now because it’s not on Wii U. Fuckin’ lame.

I don’t see in the text how exactly it was announced

There is zero indication this will release on PS4 other than hope.

I don’t see anything that confirms a PS4 release in there.

Lol yea, I’m sorry about that. Was in class and was reading the comment quickly. No PS4 version has been announced yet, but unless there’s some weird exclusivity deal that Microsoft grabbed a “next-gen” deal, then it’ll be coming to the PS4. It’s coming to the PS3 so it wouldn’t make sense. We’ll be sure to update when we hear something back as I’ve contacted Square about it.
