Rumor: Far Cry 4 Outed by Composer

It’s been mentioned in the press a few times now, and Ubisoft has also clearly stated that they plan to continue the Far Cry franchise, but up until now it hasn’t been very clear if development for the game has begun yet.

In an interview with Lost in the Multiplex, composer Cliff Martinez noted that he is currently working on Far Cry 4. The text of the interview has now been updated to revise the listing, but a sly reader managed to grab a screenshot before the text was updated. You can view the screenshot just below.

With all the latest open world games taking an interconnected world route, it will be very interesting to see what Ubisoft does with a next-gen version of Far Cry. Let us know your thoughts in the comments and stay tuned for further updates on Far Cry 4 by following us on Facebook and Twitter.

Noted in the first paragraph, no confirmation if development had started yet up until now really.
