Space Hulk: Deathwing, the upcoming Warhammer 40K-based shooter from Streum On has been pushed back from its expected release by a few days.
The game, originally scheduled to launch on December 9, will now be available beginning December 14.
Streum On has announced that the delay stems from a number of issues that were identified within a beta held last week. Although several issues have already been resolved, the development team continues to focus on loading time improvements, performance optimisation, menu enhancements, and bug fixes, among other problems.
Space Hulk: Deathwing is primarily a co-operative FPS, though it can be played solo with AI-controlled companions. The developers released seventeen minutes of gameplay footage a few weeks ago, which showed the combat, customisation, and AI controls in action.
The new December 14 release date applies only to the PC version of the game, as PS4 and Xbox One editions are currently in the works, but not scheduled to launch until 2017.
