Where’s Unreal Engine 4?
We’ve seen a ton of great games at E3 this year, as well as a bunch of new game engines showcasing stunning graphics, physics and more. One engine seems to be surprisingly missing from E3 however, Unreal Engine 4.
Epic was spotted on the show floor by members of the press, but so far we’ve seen nothing from them. One game that we’ve been wanting to hear more about is Fortnite. Fortnite is a game that allows players to build up bases by collecting different materials and then defending it at night from monster hordes. The amount of creativity players have in what they build was outstanding. We had footage of the game, but Epic quickly took it down from the source it leaked out of.
Will we see Unreal Engine 4 today at E3? Maybe. But so far we’ve seen little to almost no information out of E3 about Unreal Engine 4 and the games that will be running on it. Daylight, the recently announced horror game from Zombie Studios, is the only UE4 game we’ve seen so far.
The latest blog post from E3 just talked about Oculus Rift and Nividia’s Sheild, but nothing about next-gen consoles.
