Looks like we’ll be hearing something about Alien: Isolation very soon.

Twitter user lifelower has found a product listing for the game on the store with an official product listing. You can see the listing just below. The story details for the game will also be quoted, and match up with leaks about the game released earlier this year. According to the product details, the game will feature a single player campaign with offline cooperative play.

Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger. Fifteen years after the events of Alien™, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother’s disappearance. As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.

The game is apparently supposed to be fully revealed tomorrow morning, so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be notified when it’s announced. Hopefully this turns out better than Sega’s last attempt with Colonial Marines. (shivers)

  1. I hesitate to say that my favourite sci fi franchise has become a joke in recent years, but it really has. The only ray of hope is that it would take a monumental amount of deliberate fucking up to make something that is worse than Colonial Marines. It’s truly amazing that none of these latest developers have realized all they need to do is make Dead Space with Aliens and a few less guns.

Well, good luck to them. Might as well be a cursed series at this point.

    1. The Creative Assembly has a pretty good track record for their games. I’d place higher bets on these guys making something good over Gearbox. I won’t get my hopes to high yet due to the fact that the game has a focus on fighting clones, or whatever they call em. But, the intensity of one Alien coming after you I think should keep things fresh.
