As explained in the video, EA and the team at Bioware are utilizing Nvidia’s new Deep Learning SuperSampling (DLSS) technology in Anthem. DLSS allows the title to render at a lower internal resolution, and, using data accumulated by analysis of thousands of hours of footage, to upscale the image to a higher resolution with little apparent loss in quality. However, this feature is exclusive to Nvidia’s RTX line of graphics cards.

In a related announcement, Nvidia has stated that gamers who purchase an RTX 2060 card from qualifying retailers can choose between a copy of Battlefield V or Anthem. The RTX 2060 currently retails for USD$349, and Anthem is set for release on February 22, 2019.

Anthem is one of OnlySP’s most anticipated games of 2019, featuring a rich, detailed story; incredible shooter action; and magnificent vistas to fly through. Fans are certainly hoping the title represents a much-needed return to form for BioWare.
