Former Bungie developer Niles Sankey and his team at Nilo Studios are set to release a new sci-fi first-person psychological thriller this May entitled Asemblance. Little is currently known about the game, but it seems to be set within a machine that guides the player through a series of simulated memories.

According to Sankey, the game is meant to be a narrative-driven experience where the player is never quite sure what’s real or not.

Inspired by television shows like The Twilight Zone and The X-Files, Asemblance is the first in a planned series of episodic games being produced by Nilo Studios.

According to the studio’s Facebook page, the game is planned for release for PS4 sometime this month. The game is also coming to PC, but it is unclear whether or not it will be a simultaneous release or not.

Nilo Studios was formed last year by ex-Bungie developer Niles Sankey. Sankey worked for Bungie for almost ten years and has worked on such games as Destiny and Halo 3.
