Patrice Désilets, the man behind the Assassin’s Creed franchise is getting closer and closer to revealing his upcoming project at his new studio, Panache Digital Games.
According to a press release sent out, his new game will be a AAA third-person “historical-action-survival” game of some sorts. The new website for Panache Digital Games may provide a few clues to what exactly Désilets is working on, but for the moment that’s all we have to go off of.
Whatever he’s working on though, it won’t be a small digital title. In the press release, Désilets says, “Indeed AAA Games, I believe in them. I believe wholeheartedly that this medium we call “video games” can be a positive force for change in our society and that AAA quality gaming experiences have unmatched strength to achieve this.”
Désilets was previously working on a game called 1666, which was supposed to be the next “Assassin’s Creed”, according to Désilets. But, the game was canned following his departure from Ubisoft and last we heard, was continuing the fight to regain the rights to the IP.
