Assassin’s Creed III had an impressive showing at E3, featuring the wilderness and the brand new naval ship battles in the game, but while everyone was impressed we were left wondering, “where are the cities?” Today, Ubisoft let loose a new gameplay video from Assassin’s Creed III showing off one of the game’s cities, Boston. You may have seen this demo on the off-screen playthrough, but this time it’s on-screen, commentary included. You can check it out just below.
A new game mode for Assassin’s Creed III was also revealed today. Wolf Pack is a 2-4 person cooperative mode that has you hunt down 25 waves of enemies in timed sessions. The point of the game mode is to have you coordinate with your team of Assassins to take down your target as precisely as possible. If one player just runs in and tries to take out the target, the crowd will scatter, forcing you to chase/track down your target. It’s essentially a new take in Horde mode, but in the Assassin’s Creed universe. Honestly, I’m surprised a game mode like this wasn’t introduced in Brotherhood. Hopefully we’ll see some gameplay sooner than later.
