Ubisoft has revealed the official release date for Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered, bringing the 2014 title back into gamer’s lives in just a few short months.
With all of the downloadable content from the original game bundled in, including two bonus missions and the ‘Master Templar’ and ‘Explorer’ packs, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will be available on March 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans of the series who have enjoyed the latest installment of the franchise will be delighted to note the included packs contain weapons, customization items, and special outfits that include Bayek’s legacy outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Originally released for PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 consoles in 2014, Assassin’s Creed Rogue follows the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, a member of the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, as he undergoes a transformation from Assassin to Templar, hunting down his former brothers. The remastered version of the game was created by Ubisoft Sofia, the same studio that developed the original, and features higher resolution, improved environment rendering, visual effect, and textures.The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of the game will include support for 4K resolutions.
