Producer of Afro Samurai, Bandai Namco has teased a new project with the “Prepare to Dine” tagline accompanied by a trailer and a countdown timer.
The countdown timer is set to expire on April 20, 2017, one week from the teaser’s date. In the animated trailer, “prepare to dine” appears towards the end in conjunction with small doses of blood, perhaps an indication that blood will be the meal of choice in this mysterious new title. If the trailer is any indication, the new title could possibly feature graphic novel type visuals. The trailer can be viewed below.
Namco Bandai Games is a Japanese arcade, mobile, and home video game publisher founded in 2005 (officially renamed Bandai Namco Entertainment in 2015) as the result of a merger between Namco Ltd. and Bandai Co. Ltd. The newly-formed company entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 2010 for releasing the most TV commercials for the same product. The product was Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, a Nintendo DS game. Bandai Namco created one-hundred commercials for the game to go hand-in-hand with each of the game’s one-hundred chapters.
