As we reported a couple of weeks ago, some files discovered in the 1.8 PC update for Skyrim pointed to another batch of DLC entitled Dragonborn.  In addition to a name, there were also indications of new armor, weapons, and a return to Morrowind.  If that wasn’t enough to get us excited, there were also hints that this next DLC will allow us to ride dragons!

While Bethesda has not commented on these rumors, they did tease an upcoming announcement today via Twitter.  Along with the above photo, there is a promise of a “full trailer on 11/5”.  We can only assume – and hope – that this will be the official unveiling of Dragonborn.

That’s about all we know for now, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for any further info between now and Tuesday’s big announcement.  In the meantime, stay tuned to OnlySP for more news and make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-the-minute information.

I'm a new dad, gaming machine, and beard aficionado. With a little one in the house, I've come to embrace the single-player experience, as it is much less likely to send me into a profanity-laced, controller-throwing tantrum. Writing and video games are two of my greatest passions, so this is a natural fit for me. As long as it doesn't require me to perform coordinated dance moves in front of my Kinect, i'm willing to pen my thoughts on it. Aside from gaming, I love music (Smashing Pumpkins), coffee (Red-Eye), and sushi (Yellowtail). All offerings of my aforementioned favorites will be accepted with open arms and, if you're lucky, i'll let you touch my beard. Just don't pull on it. That hurts.

  1. The armor looks cool. What does it have to do with riding dragons?

    1. I&#039m not sure the armor has anything to do with riding dragons. That info was part of the original post ( click the "report" link. And yes, it does look cool. The curved pieces at the bottom of the helmet give it a very "Cthulhu" look.
