We received a cryptic tweet from @CallofDuty today, featuring a bloody handprint plastered on the edge of a door jamb and the text “Something’s coming…”  The imagery immediately brings to mind the walking dead, so we’re assuming there are some Black Ops 2 Zombies announcements headed our way. Of course, it’s just a guess, however educated, so we’ll make sure to stay on top of this and let you know when it develops further.  Check out the image (below) and let us know, if something’s coming, what do you think it is?

I'm a new dad, gaming machine, and beard aficionado. With a little one in the house, I've come to embrace the single-player experience, as it is much less likely to send me into a profanity-laced, controller-throwing tantrum. Writing and video games are two of my greatest passions, so this is a natural fit for me. As long as it doesn't require me to perform coordinated dance moves in front of my Kinect, i'm willing to pen my thoughts on it. Aside from gaming, I love music (Smashing Pumpkins), coffee (Red-Eye), and sushi (Yellowtail). All offerings of my aforementioned favorites will be accepted with open arms and, if you're lucky, i'll let you touch my beard. Just don't pull on it. That hurts.

  1. I can&#039t wait to hear the improvements they made in Zombies. I thought it was cool but just lost interest after playing a few matches. I really want to see some customization and some type of level to it. Maybe even some type of completion goals.

    1. Yeah, I got tired of Black Ops Zombies pretty quickly. I actually enjoyed World at War&#039s Zombies, so maybe it can get back to its roots. With the rest of the game looking so polished, I&#039m expecting Zombies to be a more refined experience this time around.

      1. I actually never played Zombies when I had W@W. I was busy with the MP and just never got around to it for some reason. I kept hearing people saying it was so awesome and then when Blops came people were telling me it was even better.

I still have some friends that play it all the time on Blops. I&#039m always getting asked to play but I just can&#039t do it.

  3. Being a Zombies super-fan, I am a little distressed about what I&#039ve heard of BO2 Zombies. As Zombies has progressed it seems as though Treyarch&#039s solution for improving Zombies is including more and more game mechanics to the point that I felt in Moon I had to much to worry about, especially when not playing with 4 players. Hearing that the maps are larger and there is "more ways to approach the levels" concerns me. I guess we&#039ll have to wait and see.

    1. That&#039s exactly the issue I had with the last one. It seemed to be less about killing zombies and more about running around doing superfluous crap between rounds. Let me just fortify and kill!!!
