Storm In A Teacup, the Rome-based developer behind games Lantern, Enki, and N.E.R.O, has released the official reveal trailer for its fourth game Close to the Sun.
While no release date was confirmed in the video, the team appears to be targeting a tentative 2018 launch, and the game has been announced for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
As mentioned in the official announcement, Close to the Sun is best described as a story-driven horror (shown in vivid detail in the reveal trailer). The game takes place in an alternate version of the turn of the 20th century on a science vessel created by famed historical figure Nicola Tesla. Players will take the role of Rose, a journalist searching for her sister.
Despite the apparent similarities between this title and Irrational Games’s BioShock, Close to the Sun is gathering its own attention after being nominated for three awards in the Game Connection America 2018 Development Awards.
