Code Vein

Bandai Namco has revealed that its anime-styled vampire action RPG Code Vein will release on September 27.

The new trailer showcasing the launch date introduces some of the story elements of the project, detailing background information. Also featured are a handful of what appears to be boss enemies, ranging from rotund knights to nightmarish monsters.

Code Vein casts players as a vampire-like being called a Revenant who must feed on blood to avoid transforming into a mindless creature known as The Lost. The trailer suggests that a cure for this vampiric affliction may be available somewhere in the game’s world.
