Vertigo Gaming Inc has released restaraunt management simulator sequel Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! on Steam and Humble Store for Mac, Linux, and PC.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! contains a campaign story mode consisting of over 60 hours worth of gameplay. Gamers build their restaurants up from the bottom, gaining stars until they can offer diners a World Class Platinum Star experience. The sequel also introduces a new campaign mode called Chef For Hire, in which players take jobs within the tower and various other restaurants, gaining experience with a large array of foods. Additionally, CSD2 offers greater difficulty flexibility, letting players choose whether they want a casual or uber-challenging game experience. Over 180 foods, side dishes, drinks, and desserts improve over the original game’s 30 recipes, and gamers are able to decorate their restaurants with almost 1,000 unlockable objects.
The day begins as normal in the SherriSoda tower, where an intrepid restaurateur has worked diligently to transform a rat-infested hole in the wall into a platinum-star fine dining establishment called Cook, Serve, Delicious!. The chef’s fine cooking and management skills draw huge crowds. The restaurant’s popularity is booming. That is, until the police show up. SherriSoda Tower executives have been caught embezzling funds from the companies within the tower, incurring staggering amounts of debt and draining the accounts of the businesses, including Cook, Serve, Delicious!. The tower closes and is put up for federal auction. The Cook, Serve, Delicious! restaurant is gone. Angry and determined, the master chef pulls together their life savings, buying commercial space in the largest skyscraper in the city.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! is the long-awaited sequel to the original Cook, Serve, Delicious!, an addictive, fast-paced kitchen-sim. Released in October 2013, Cook, Serve, Delicious! was a runaway hit, earning thousands of positive reviews on its Steam page. Deceptively easy to learn, incredibly difficult to master, the restaurant sim quickly gathered a loyal fan base who not only requested, but almost demanded a sequel.
