Since the early days of the Xbox One, many people on the internet have scoffed at Microsoft’s claims that the “Cloud” would be a big game changer for upcoming Xbox One games. And then, we were shown Crackdown 3 at the Microsoft Gamescom press conference.

Obviously, since the game isn’t in our hands yet we can’t know for sure how well this destruction system is actually going to work in a live, playable environment, but this presentation of the tech in question should give you a good idea of how it all works.

You can check out the Crackdown 3 tech demo presentation just below, which shows the tech in action, how the destruction works and better explains what Microsoft’s Azure Cloud system really does.

Let us know what you think of the presentation in the comments section and if you think the final product will resemble what was shown here. Stay tuned for more updates later on today regarding Crackdown 3 by following us on Facebook and Twitter.

  2. This demo looks fantastic! I wonder what the CrackDown 3’s beta footage will look like or is there a release date for that too?
