Cyberpunk 2077

Fans have long speculated about whether CD Projekt RED’s latest title Cyberpunk 2077 will support mods, and an answer has finally come.

Responding to a question on CD Projekt RED’s official forums, global community lead Marcin Momot confirmed that the developer has no plans to release Cyberpunk 2077 with mod support at launch, wanting to instead “focus on releasing the game first.” However, Momot also added that the team “would love to support the modding community in the future,” maintaining hope that mod support will be added to the game post-launch as with The Witcher 3.

While some fans will be disappointed by this news, knowing CD Projekt RED is focused on releasing a finished experience for fans is relieving, especially if the possibility is still open for mod support to be added later on.
