Cyberpunk RPG ‘Dex’ is Heading to Consoles with Enhancements

Published

 on

Side-scrolling 2D RPG Dex is getting a variety of enhancements and will be heading to PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One and Wii U.

The enhancements for the newest version of the game include improved AI, revamped cyberspace modes, support for new languages (German, French, Hungarian) and manual saves among many other things. After the console versions have been released, these improvements will be introduced on the PC version that was released earlier this year as well.

Originally funded on Kickstarter, Dex allows you to explore the city of Harbor Prime, a futuristic city where you are tasked with finding out more about a mysterious AI. The game is inspired largely by classical cyberpunk novels, and aims to bring that flavour to a video game with a few modern twists.

Digimon Survive

The opening movie for Bandai Namco’s survival strategy game, Digimon Survive, has been released.

The opening was first shown exclusively at the “Future of Digimon” panel at Anime Expo 2019 back on July 6. The opening shows an earthquake that has hit Kanobe City, as well as some ominous red eyes (presumably Digimon) surrounding an old man in a forest. Near the end, the main character, Takuma, sees a mysterious silhouette of a girl, and the opening finishes with her singing.

Digimon Survive follows Takuma and his companion, Agumon, as they make decisions to stay alive and escape a bizarre dimension.

Digimon Survive will release on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One in 2020.
