The development team behind the highly anticipated monster RPG Darkborn is already working on a second project.

Developer The Outsiders has already inked a deal with Conan Exiles publisher Funcom to produce the title for PC and consoles. Unfortunately, further information is not forthcoming at the present time.

While some may speculate that this title might be Darkborn, after previous publisher Private Division parted ways with The Outsiders, Funcom describes the project as “a new original and previously unannounced game.”

Darkborn has already been in development for several years, with a big reveal occurring in April this year. However, since then, the team has returned to near silence.

Earlier this year, Funcom announced that it had acquired the rights to the Dune franchise, with the intention of creating at least three games in the next six years.
