Dead Space 3 – Launch Trailer

The Dead Space 3 launch trailer has finally arrived, giving gamers the (hopefully) definitive representation of what they’ll be getting when they pick the game up next week.

You’ll notice that it’s a lot quieter than most trailers for high-profile releases, featuring little to no sound besides the background music, which instills a more reserved, almost spiritual vibe that honestly renews our hope that the game won’t completely drop the horror elements. It’s also interspersed with what looks like CGI cinematics depicting a very emotional and weary Isaac, hinting that this could very well be the final chapter of his saga. If nothing else, he’ll know that he was sent off with a pretty unique trailer. Check it out below and leave us your thoughts.

Dead Space 3 releases Feb. 5 for PC, Xbox 360 (with Kinect support, lest we forget) and PS3.

    1. But… but… they need to sell 5 million copies! Don’t you have any sympathy for their CEOs? They’ll only be able to get silver-plated toilets rather than gold ones! OH, THE HUMANITY!
