Delve Into the Ancient Past in New Heaven’s Vault Trailer

Heaven's Vault

The newest trailer for the archaeology-inspired Heaven’s Vault offers a glimpse at the striking art and novel gameplay set to make an appearance in the title.

Coming from 80 Days developer inkle Studios, Heaven’s Vault casts players as archaeologist Aliya Elasra as she enters an ancient world in search of a lost scientist.

In many ways, the team has scaled up its ambition for its new project, offering an explorable 3D world in addition to the award-winning non-linear storytelling from 80 Days. inkle promises that the game will remember every choice the player makes, resulting in a personalised and highly dynamic narrative.

In addition to the exploratory gameplay, which takes place both on foot and a flying ship, players will experience a process of deciphering an unknown language. The mechanics of doing so are in evidence in the trailer embedded below.

Heaven’s Vault is currently slated to launch in the first half of 2019 for iOS devices, PC, and PlayStation 4.
