It looks like Eidos Montreal have an unnamed project hiding in the works. The LinkedIn profiles of two developers – UI specialist Alexandre Richer, who has worked on titles such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Watch-Dogs, and Tomb Raider, and Louis Auger, a senior UI artist who has worked on Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed 2, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution – have listed their participation in an unannounced project by Eidos Montreal.

No word yet as to the nature of the project, which Auger describes as a “really cool project”. Richer’s profile suggests that the project has been in the works for a year and a half: August 2011 – January 2013.

My heart wants to say Thief 4 (Thi4f). But, since we already know Thief 4 is in the works, it very well maybe the next Deus Ex title. We’ll just have to wait until Eidos Montreal are ready to announce it in “upcoming months”.

I think Lachlan (the author) knows that too. Just saying.

      1. We updated the text after the comment was posted to clear that up.

        1. Yikes. In that case, I apologize.

Next time, it’s probably a good idea for Lachlan/you to respond to the comment and acknowledge that the edit was made. That way it clears up any confusion.

Anyway, bring on whatever Eidos have been supposedly planning!
