Diablo IV was finally revealed at BlizzCon 2019.

The latest entry in the legendary action-RPG franchise was revealed to BlizzCon attendees where fans also got to get their hands on a public demo.

Blizzard says Diablo VI aims to return to the franchise’s roots with intense combat, deadly foes to battle, and loads of epic loot to hunt for. Endless playability awaits players as they are sent out into a beautiful world where players are given the freedom to forge their own path across the world of Sanctuary. Randomly generated dungeons also give the player a sense of endless adventure as they fight their way through to forces of evil to discover legendary treasures fit for any hardened adventurer. All of these things and more were detailed in the game’s first gameplay trailer.

Three core characters make their return to the franchise as shown in the gameplay demo.

The classic Barbarian returns with their unrivaled strength, and brings a new ability known as Arsenal. This gives them the ability to carry and quickly change between four different weapons.

The Druid comes bearing the power of nature to battle the demonic forces. They are able to fluidly shape-shift into werewolf, werebear, and human form to counter the various strategies that the forces of evil with throw at you.

The Sorceress harnesses the power of the elements to combat foes. Casting various spells such as ice spikes, lightning bolts, and raining meteors from the heavens is only a glimpse at the power they hold.

Development has long been speculated, but fans of the franchise are finally given the satisfaction that the next chapter in this iconic franchise is just around the corner. Blizzard’s Diablo IV is currently in development, and will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
