UPDATE: Just to clarify, this does not mean the DLC will NOT be coming to the PS3 or PC. Usually when exclusivity deals end, the content would be released the following Tuesday. However, there has been no announcement of a Dawngaurd release date for the PS3 or PC or really even an official announcement that the DLC is coming to those platforms. More than likely though, they will, so don’t lose hope.
Bethesda hasn’t exactly been a shining star in the eyes of PS3 gamers lately, and it looks like that won’t change anytime soon. As it turns out, Bethesda has not yet given a green light for the PC and PS3 versions of Dawnguard, the expansion for Skyrim.
Pete Hines, Bethesda’s VP of Marketing and PR, stated on Twitter that so far, Dawnguard has not been officially announced on any platform other than Xbox 360.
We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’ll tell you.
He then tweeted something else:
I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming.
This will no doubt comes as worrisome to PS3 players, and probably more so to the PC guys, seeing as the series has always marked them as the primary audience. We’ll see how this story continues to develop. Make sure to follow OnlySP for more shining stars.
WTF Bethesda. That is MILLIONS you are missing out on. The PS3 and PC systems have always got the shot end of the stick for a WEAKER system. The 360 doesn't have half the potential a PS3 has nor a tenth of what a modern pc can do.

Wow. What the fuck. I'm gonna reconsider my decision to get an xbox

Fuck Microsoft.
I'm confused…the second tweet flat out says that news will be coming eventually, how does this at all equate to there never being a release for PC/PS3?
It's just a poorly written article. Microsoft has an exclusive window of time (the length of which is unknown to the public) for Skyrim expansions. They will eventually make their way to PC/PS3. I think Pete Hines was just trying to say "stop bothering me about it, it'll be available when it's available."
That's exactly what I got from it, I don't understand why everyone is freaking out and assuming this means PC/PS3 players are getting the shaft.
That is all that this post is pointing out Eric. When exclusivity deals end, the DLC is usually launched the following Tuesday, which would be this upcoming Tuesday. But, no announcement has been made which tells people who were expecting to get the DLC as soon as the deal ended will now have to wait even longer. Obviously it's still going to come out at some point.

Hey guys,
I apologize for misinforming you. It seems I didn't understand Pete Hines' statements. The fact that Dawnguard has not been announced for the other platforms still doesn't mean much; It could very well be announced once the exclusivity has worn off. I've rewritten the article to reflect this, and once again I apologize for infecting your minds with warped info. Keep an eye out for future details on this story, though.
