Insomnia: The Ark gameplay

UPDATED: Dystopian RPG Insomnia: The Ark Coming to PS4

UPDATE: Studio Mono has clarified that Insomnia: The Ark is not confirmed for a release on any platform except PC. According to the game’s official Twitter page, the tweet was ” Just us being funny on expo.”

OnlySP apologises for the editorial inaccuracy.

ORIGINAL STORY: Developer Studio Mono has announced that its dieselpunk-inspired sci-fi RPG Insomnia: The Ark will be coming to PlayStation 4.

The game was previously only targeting a PC release, but the developer took to Twitter today to confirm the game’s PlayStation 4 release.

Insomnia: The Ark takes place on a city adrift in space following a war that engulfed its original planet. Players awaken from hypersleep to a large-scale terrorist attack, but the game promises considerable nuance beyond this basic premise.

The developer raised almost USD$100,000 on Kickstarter in 2014, though the game has been in development for nine years. Insomnia: The Ark will be published by HeroCraft later this year.
