E3 2013 – Mad Max has no Multiplayer

0

Mad Max was always going to be a game to watch – developed by Avalanche, the Just Cause open world pedigree was sure to be strong. And it seems today that the tradition of the single player experience is continuing with Mad Max. Talking to GameSpot, creative director Frank Rooke confirmed that, at least for the time being, Mad Max was a completely solo experience.

“There’s no multiplayer at the time,” Rooke told GameSpot. “It’s a very strong single-player experience and of course Max is a loner and we’re really focusing on that aspect of Max.”

Unsurprisingly, this news nugget has us here at OnlySP very excited. In a connected, potentially always on world, it’s reassuring that the single player soul can be catered for.
