20th Century Fox Starting Indie Program to Aid “Creators who are Taking Creative Risks”

Etherborn developer Altered Matter and FoxNext Games are partnering and have revealed something remarkable for indie developers.

Announced just a while ago, the groups are collaborating to put together an indie development fund. The initiative is “aimed at creators who are taking creative risks in the field of games.”

Etherborn, which also got a sublime new trailer which can be viewed below, is the first game taking part in the initiative. FoxNext says more games in the program are planned to be announced throughout the year.

Vice president of FoxNext’s external development, TQ Jefferson, elaborated on some of the program’s details.

“We’re looking to partner with inspiring game makers, providing the support they need to develop the best version of their games and ultimately connect with the widest audience possible.”

For those unfamiliar with FoxNext, the company is one video game division under the 20th Century Fox umbrella, perhaps demonstrating new ventures for Fox.

The world bending, puzzle-platformer Etherborn is currently planned to launch this Spring on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
