Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have announced that The Evil Within’s first batch of DLC, “The Assignment”, will release in early 2015.

The Assignment is the first of a two-part campaign that is focused on Juli Kidman, Sebastian Castellano’s mysterious partner. The second part of the DLC, “The Consequence”, will feature the Keeper and be released later in the year. All of the DLC is part of the season pass available for $20 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC.

According to Director John Johanas, Kidman will be play differently then Sebastian does:

I would say she’s much livelier than Sebastian was in the main game. Her story is a bit more personal than his as well, so there’s a bit of banter and commentary as you play.
