Former Battlefield Designer’s Monster RPG Project Wight Shows Off First Character Design

Former Battlefield designer David Goldfarb tweeted out the first character design from Project Wight, an upcoming title in development by his co-founded studio The Outsiders.

The tweet, embedded below, appears to show a menu screen with, according to evidence seen in a previous trailer, the playable character. The main character is a wight, which translates to an undead creature that specialises in fast-paced combat:

Previously, the developer has only shown off concept art and trailer footage, but it appears that this is the final, playable design of the title’s protagonist. The art style and menu invokes memories of The Witcher series, with both series borrowing heavily from the central European mythos.

Goldfarb also confirms that the soundtrack will be made by Elvira Björkman and Nicklas Hjertberg, who both designed the Aragami soundtrack.
