It’s short but it’s sweet. Today, Sony released a quick 30 second spot showing single-player footage in a trailer for its upcoming release, God of War: Ascension.

Previously focusing mainly on the multiplayer aspect of the game, a first for the series, Sony used its quick trailer to once again portray Krato’s anger and angst.

The trailer touches on his origin story, then quickly moves on to the violence as Kratos takes down enemy after enemy. Giant humanoid elephants, underwater kraken and fire-breathing dragons – nothing escapes Kratos’ wrath.

God of War: Ascension is available on March 12th.  Check out the trailer below courtesy of IGN.

When he isn't working the dreaded 9 to 5, he enjoys catching up on movies, great television, and oh yeah - family time when he can fit it in (kidding, honey!). He hopes to blossom from occasional to full time writer at some point. If he doesn't embarrass himself on this site first...
