Greenlit For Steam, The First Ten

4

The first ten titles to have “earned critical mass and been picked up for worldwide distribution” through Steam’s new Greenlight feature have been confirmed:

Black Mesa
Heroes & Generals
Cry Of Fear
Routine
Kenshi
Towns
No More Room In Hell
Project Zomboid
Dream
McPixel

Anna Sweet of Valve said “[t]he Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight… Since launch, hundreds of titles have been submitted, with more coming in every day. We expect to be announcing more titles coming to Steam via Greenlight soon.”

It’s encouraging to see that most of these (read: 8) are primarily single player titles. Lets hope that future Greenlight releases will be as strong as the initial showing seems to be.

Look for these games to be “released independently in the months ahead”.

  1. YES! Black Mesa made it! WOOOOOO!!!

  2. I voted for most of these. A couple of them I never saw but the ones I did see and vote on looked good. There are some great looking games on Greenlight. I&#039m actually going to start en editorial on VG when I get access soon that features 3 indie games each month that I think people should check out. Very excited about writing for VG.
