At this year’s Golden Joystick Awards, Square Enix unveiled a new cinematic trailer for their upcoming title, Hitman: Absolution.  The video is composed mostly of cut-scene footage and hints at some potentially deeper motivations for Agent 47.  According to IO Interactive, Absolution will involve a more personal story than Hitman games we’ve seen in the past.  This is reinforced by the question at the end of the trailer: “How many lives will you take, to save one?”  The bald and barcoded one is now in the business of saving lives?  What a twist!  Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Hitman: Absolution hits store shelves on November 20th for XBox 360, PS3, and PC.  In the meantime, check out all of our coverage of Agent 47’s return here.  Stay tuned to OnlySP for more news and make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-the-minute information.

Will Blackwell
I'm a new dad, gaming machine, and beard aficionado. With a little one in the house, I've come to embrace the single-player experience, as it is much less likely to send me into a profanity-laced, controller-throwing tantrum. Writing and video games are two of my greatest passions, so this is a natural fit for me. As long as it doesn't require me to perform coordinated dance moves in front of my Kinect, i'm willing to pen my thoughts on it. Aside from gaming, I love music (Smashing Pumpkins), coffee (Red-Eye), and sushi (Yellowtail). All offerings of my aforementioned favorites will be accepted with open arms and, if you're lucky, i'll let you touch my beard. Just don't pull on it. That hurts.
