Hitman developer IO Interactive has revealed that it is currently working on a brand-new IP for consoles and PC.
The announcement came via a press release from the developer, but did not reveal anything substantial about the upcoming title. However, the studio confirmed the game would be coming to consoles and PC. Both the Copenhagen team and the newly opened Malmo office in Sweden will be involved in development.
The new game will also see the IO Interactive continue a working relationship with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The publisher previously worked with the developer on both Hitman titles.
IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak said, “Over the past few years, Warner Bros. has shown us first-hand that they understand and respect our creative vision, and we’re looking forward to continuing this relationship.”
