Indie Adventure Interpoint Channels Portal and Half-Life

Developer Three Dots has unveiled its first-person adventure game Interpoint, which bears echoes of some of the most acclaimed games in history.

Billed as a “first-person sci-fi mystery with elements of psychological horror,” the game casts players as a scientist trying to find his way home through parallel universes.

The primary means of interaction with the world is a photon gun, which draws energy from external sources. Those sources then determine the output of the device, whether that be light, isolation fields, or more.

The character’s quest is made difficult by the presence of interdimensional portals, which can drop the player anywhere.

Interpoint is currently scheduled to launch in Steam Early Access in the northern hemisphere’s spring, while a full release on consoles is expected to arrive in autumn.
