Indie Survival Horror Hit The Forest Has Sold Over 5 Million Copies

Endnight Games has hit an incredible milestone with its debut release, The Forest.

In a press release sent out today, Endnight Games has revealed that The Forest has sold over 5.3 million copies on PC since its release. This sales milestone makes the game “one of the most successful independent game releases of all time,” according to the press release.

The Forest originally released into Early Access all the way back in 2014, and exited the program in April of this year. The game is set to release on the PlayStation 4 tomorrow, November 6th and will be priced at $19.99.

No word yet if the game will be making its way to the Xbox One, but players can probably assume that a version for the console is in the works.

OnlySP was one of the very first outlets to report on The Forest all the way back when the game first entered the scene in 2013 and to see now that the game has sold over 5 million copies is pretty mind boggling.
