After more than eight years in development, the ambitious indie RPG INSOMNIA: The Ark will launch September 27.

The game will only be available on PC for the time being, where it will retail for USD$29.99/GBP£29.99/EUR€29.99. Thankfully, INSOMNIA will feature a 10% discount for the first week of availability.

The RPG will provide about 60 hours of content, including 70 locations and more than 250 key characters. The developer has also revealed that the title will feature a branching storyline, with 12 endings set to be included.

As an added bonus, Studio Mono promises considerable post-launch support, including extra and content coming as free DLC.

INSOMNIA: The Ark begins with players waking to discover the outbreak of violence on board a massive spaceborne metropolis. The game promises considerable role-playing depth in a story that aims to explore the degradation of human society.
