Players on the lookout for another game that offers a similar experience to games like Journey or RiME will want to check out a new game on Kickstarter.
Jonas Manke, the sole developer of Studio Inkyfox, has recently launched a Kickstarter for his currently in-development game, Omno.
According to the Kickstarter, “Omno is a single player adventure that will take you through lush forests, across a sun blasted desert, over a frigid tundra, and where the power of a lost civilisation will even carry you to the clouds. On the way you will meet strange creatures, encounter many surprises and maybe make a friend.”
Omno has been in development for over two years with Manke working on the title full-time for the past eight months. Having worked in the industry for 10 years, he has built up quite a list of credits which include a number of animated movies and games, including State of Decay 2.
The game has only been on Kickstarter for a couple days, but will surely be funded with the campaign already reaching 75% of its goal with 29 days left in the campaign.
If funded, Studio Inkyfox plans to release Omno on Steam in the second half of 2019. The developer would like to port the game to the Xbox One, PS4 and Switch if the game does well enough.
