Kingdom Come: Deliverance Has Been Delayed To 2017

Warhorse Studios has confirmed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance will no longer be launching in 2016.

An official announcement is forthcoming, but Warhorse Studios has told WCCFTECH that Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been delayed to 2017. An official release date for Kingdom Come is expected from Warhorse Studios between E3 and Gamescom so we’ll be sure to be on the lookout for that.

Back in March Warhorse Studios hinted that Kingdom Come: Deliverance might be delayed for a simultaneous launch as the developer was currently in talks with publishers regarding bringing the game to store shelves. At the time they were hoping for a best case scenario in which they could release the PC version this Summer and console versions later. However, it seems that whatever publisher deal they have lined up has moved the game back to a 2017 release for all three versions.

While delays aren’t usually looked at as good things in our industry, Kingdom Come will surely benefit from the added development time. You can read our hands-on preview from the initial beta release by following the link.
