Kingdom Come: Deliverance Heads to Kickstarter, New Gameplay Trailer Looks Stunning

Published

Warhorse Studios has finally revealed what they’ve been working on for the past year and a half in a recently released video that shows off many of the game’s features, graphics and gives you a brief glimpse at the story. Here’s the trailer for game, the official description and a link to the Kickstarter page so you can fund the project. If you’re a fan of single player RPG’s, I’d advise if you back anything, back this project.

You can expect a full, fleshed out story on Kingdom Come: Deliverance from us later today and you can bet on us trying for an interview with the team to learn more about this project. This is a game that I have personally been wanting since I was a little kid.

A humble, young blacksmith loses everything to war. As he tries to fulfill the dying wish of his father, Fate drags him into the thick of a conspiracy to save a kidnapped king and stop a bloody conflict. You will wander the world, fighting as a knight, lurking in the shadows as a rogue, or using the bard’s charm to persuade people to your cause. You will dive deep into a sweeping, epic, nonlinear story from Daniel Vávra, an award-winning designer from the Mafia series. Our unique, first-person combat system lets you wield sword or bow in both one-on-one skirmishes and large-scale battles. All of this – and more – brought to life beautifully with next-gen visuals delivered via CryEngine 3.

Roger Clark Red Dead Redemption 2 interview
An Interview with Roger Clark

Roger Clark gave Rockstar Games’s Wild West a new voice when he took on the role of Red Dead Redemption 2’s Arthur Morgan last October. Despite big boots to fill, Clark has managed to prove himself as a valuable member of the outlawed gang.

Red Dead Redemption 2 launched to critical acclaim across the board and is set to go down not only as a triumph in world-building, but as a successful character-driven story, too.

OnlySP’s Michael Cripe sat down with Clark to talk about single-player games, the character of Arthur Morgan, fun times on set, inspirations, and more at Planet Comicon KC 2019. Check out the full interview up above.

“I was trying to come up with something that was honest, yet, had enough ambiguity so that, if the player wanted to make Arthur a total bastard, my performance would still make sense…”

Clark managed to take the OnlySP Award for Best Performer during OnlySP’s Best of 2018 ceremony thanks the “emotion he brought to the role” and his “low, raspy voice that will be ingrained in the minds of players for a very long time.”

For more on Red Dead Redemption 2, Clark, and the world of single-player gaming, keep checking in with OnlySP’s FacebookTwitterYouTube, and new community Discord server.
