In one of the more surprising announcements this Summer, City Interactive and Deck13 has decided to release Lords of the Fallen, a new IP, in the month of October. Keep in mind, there are over a DOZEN, big name titles releasing that month. You’d think a developer making a new IP would want a less challenging month to release their game in. Nope, not Deck13.

A fan on Twitter tried to put the Debbie Downer on Deck13, to which the developer’s cheekily replied, “We like a challenge”. I suppose it only makes sense considering how much Lords of the Fallen has been marketed as a very challenging game.

In addition to the console version of the game, which will be releasing on the Xbox One and PS4, there is a PC version in development. However, we’ve heard next to nothing on the development of that as of yet. According to the developers, that will change soon.

Lords of the Fallen received some pretty great reception at E3 this year so hopefully the final product turns out as good as its promising to be. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date with all the latest regarding Lords of the Fallen.
