Mooneye Studios has announced that Lost Ember will not be able to meet its originally planned release date.

In its latest developer blog, Mooneye Studios stated, “We’re sad to have to tell you that we’re not going to be able to hold up the announced release date for July.”

The blog then went on to say, “You may have encountered undercooked and buggy games in the past and we’re pretty sure you’d prefer to have Lost Ember in a state that will not crush your enjoyment of the experience. That’s why we’ll have to take a little extra time to fix a couple of issues that would definitely hurt your fun with it.”

According to the team, an unexpected amount of bugs were encountered late into development. The new release date is currently unknown, but Mooneye Studios believes Lost Ember will be setback a few weeks.

All the features and mechanics have been implemented into the game, mean the game is playable despite the bugs. The team is currently working on level readability as well as bug fixes

Lost Ember will release on PC, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

Digimon Survive

The opening movie for Bandai Namco’s survival strategy game, Digimon Survive, has been released.

The opening was first shown exclusively at the “Future of Digimon” panel at Anime Expo 2019 back on July 6. The opening shows an earthquake that has hit Kanobe City, as well as some ominous red eyes (presumably Digimon) surrounding an old man in a forest. Near the end, the main character, Takuma, sees a mysterious silhouette of a girl, and the opening finishes with her singing.

Digimon Survive follows Takuma and his companion, Agumon, as they make decisions to stay alive and escape a bizarre dimension.

Digimon Survive will release on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One in 2020.
