Oculus VR recently announced that every Rift would be bundled with a copy of Playful’s 3D mascot platformer Lucky’s Tale.

The first game to be published by Oculus, Lucky’s Tale, is a third person 3D platformer that sees a happy looking fox called Lucky traversing a colourful fairy tale world, reminiscent of the likes of Banjoe Kazooie and the original concept for Conkers Bad Fur Day, before they added the swearing and operatic ditties about excrement.

Though the trailer is fairly short, containing about 40 seconds of actual gameplay, it appears that the head tracking abilities of the Rift will be used to the to control the camera, as well as aiming bombs that Lucky tosses at destructible targets.

Along with Lucky’s Tale  the rift will also come packed with CCP’s, EVE: Valkyrie. Preorders for the Rift go live later today. No firm release date or pricing has been announced at the time of going press.
