Following the release of Dr. Mario World for mobile devices and a closed beta, Mario Kart Tour will premiere on September 25.
This latest Mario title will feature in-game purchases and will optimize the Mario Kart experience for phones and tablets.
Players can race on classic tracks in Mario Kart Tour and can also compete on courses based on real-world cities and places of interest. Available tracks will rotate in and out of availability every two weeks.
This announcement comes shortly after the news that Pokémon Masters will launch globally on August 29.
Mario Kart Tour is set to capitalize on the success of the recent Mario Maker 2 . Even if the company has run into a bit of legal trouble over its mobile titles, Nintendo appears to be committed to the platform.
