Mass Effect 3 Extended Ending DLC Slated for Summer Release

0

Bioware has announced they will release extra ending content for Mass Effect 3 sometime this summer in form of FREE DLC.

The new extended ending DLC will feature new cinematics and epilogue scenes that will clarify and explain the game’s ending better, providing more details and insight for fans.

Ray Muzyka (studio founder) commented that this was an ideal way to both keep the creative vision of ME3 and the appease fans unhappy with its ending.

“Since launch, we have had time to listen to the feedback from our most passionate fans and we are responding” he says.

“With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe.”

So there you have it folks! After weeks of countless complaints, Bioware finally responded (for better or worse) and we will get our extra ending content. Something tells me though it is not going to be the perfect “ending” solution everyone hoped for, rather than a few extra scenes that will leave us feeling sore.
