PlayStation will soon give an update regarding the remake of the PlayStation One cult-classic MediEvil.

During episode 310 of the PlayStation Blogcast, podcast host and PlayStation Director of Social Media Sid Shuman shared that Shawn Layden would be joining the Blogcast to offer the MediEvil update in the next two weeks.

Shuman did not divulge what information Layden would offer up. However, he did ask listeners to send in questions in preparation for the upcoming MediEvil information spill.

Nearly one year has passed since the remake was announced during last year’s PlayStation Experience. Since the reveal, PlayStation has not offered up nearly any updates whatsoever.

Hopefully whatever Layden has to say in the coming weeks will raise some of the hype from the dead.

Until the news drops, check out the game’s initial reveal trailer down below.

Michael fell into the OnlySP team toward the end of 2017. You’ll mostly catch his work over in the news area, but that doesn’t mean he won’t dip into the features section every now and then. For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
