The third entry in 4A Games’s Metro saga, Metro Exodus, has been unveiled at Microsoft’s E3 press conference.
Few details on the game were revealed, though the trailer showed off the stunning post-apocalyptic landscapes and mutated creatures that have become synonymous with the series. As in previous titles, ammunition conservation was one of the key elements of the footage.
The game will be available some time in 2018, with more details available in the coming months.
The Metro series is adapted from Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novel series of the same name, though 4A Games has taken considerable creative license with the franchise to date.
No specific release date or has been revealed. Though, the unveiling of Metro Exodus at Microsoft’s press conference suggests Xbox One and PC will be the included in the platform list. Deep Silver has also confirmed the title will be coming to PlayStation 4.
