A user on NeoGAF has seemingly stumbled upon a less than surprising listing on LinkedIn today, pointing towards a sequel to The Last of Us.

A Lead Character Artist, Michael Knowland, recently left Naughty Dog according to his LinkedIn profile and was previously working on Uncharted 4.  In addition to working on Uncharted 4, Knowland was also apparently working on prototype art assets for The Last of Us 2, according to his profile. Other related profiles also have Uncharted 4 listed on their profiles along with an unannounced AAA title, presumably The Last of Us 2.

It should come as no surprise that Naughty Dog is working on a sequel to the critically and commercially acclaimed, The Last of Us. It’ll be interesting to see what Naughty Dog comes up with for the sequel and if we’ll see Ellie return as a main character, or if we’ll see a whole new cast of characters.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on anything we hear regarding The Last of Us sequel so don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest.
